17,30: night time pyrothecnic show centred on a living retrospective of the "Battle of the Bulge" , In fact, the public will be able to witness scenes of fighting between the belligerants, A commentry will give life to these crazy days, The show will last 1 hour.
Around 19,30 the TEC buses will bring the public back to Bastogne and the Mardasson for an official ceremony.

Departure from 8 to 9.30
The walk over a vast area is organized every year the day of Nuts Feast, starting from Antwerp with veteran who is always fit, Maurice Spérandieu. This event gathers together thousands of walkers on routes more or less long (6,12 and 20 km by selection), invite to visit lines abreast of the famous Battle of Bastogne. An organization and animation, which do of this walk: the only appointment for the ramblers of the winter solstice.
At the programme: 3 routes and two big commemorations in Assenois and Villeroux.

Nuts fair and commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Batle of the Bulge
14,00: departure of the second tour of the column of Allied military vehicles through the vilages of the entity.
14,30: 14.30: patriotic parade from the Town Hall enhanced by the presence of the Military Music of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (Chièvres) and laying of wreaths at the Patton and McAuliffe Monuments with the participation of Belgian and American authorities.
15,30: Traditional "Walnut Festival" with throwing of walnuts from the balcony of the Town Hall.
Around 17,00, TEC buses will take the public to Vaux-sur-Sûre,
Market - folklore -tradition. More than 150 years ago, the nuts fair which took place at the end of December, was a fair for the renting of servants When they hired again, those people tied around their neck a red handkerchief with white spots. It was the mark who were rented. On this occasion, they gave nuts to the young girls. The fate wanted which "Nuts" from General Mc Auliffe was fallen on the 22nd December 1944, At the time where traditionally Bastogne celebrated the nuts fair. After the war, The folklore and military history were found their place in this event.
