A search on the Historical Hartford Courant found this gentleman listed
under casualties on April 3, 1945.
His mother's name was Emma Parady. He lived at 27 Tokenke Rd. in
Darien, CT.
You might check with the Connecticut State Library Genealogy department
to see if they can give you any more information. Their website is:

Dear Sjoerd Aarts,
This e-mail is in response to your query about serviceman Harold D. Parady who is buried in the Netherlands. Due to time constraints, the Connecticut State Library staff is unable to conduct extensive research on behalf of patrons. For extensive genealogical research you may consider hiring an independent researcher, please see
http://www.cslib.org/list.htm.

Description:
This database contains information on about 8.3 million men and women who enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II. Information contained in this database usually includes: name of enlistee, army serial number, residence (county and state), place of enlistment, enlistment date, grade, army branch, component, term of enlistment, birthplace, year of birth, race and citizenship, height and weight, education, and marital status
For further information about World War II resources at the Connecticut State Library, please see:

It would seem that this individual was born in New Hampshire, and may have left family in the Darien area. If that was the case, an obituary in a Darien area newspaper for March or April 1945 would be of interest to you.
If you have specific research needs, please let me know.
Most sincerely,

Langzaamaan komt er steeds iets meer boven

Sjoerd.
